Four engine options are included for the Jeep Grand Cherokee depending upon the model that you select and the respective transmission that you include. With a standard Jeep Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 engine combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission, you can enjoy 295 horsepower, 260 pound-feet and 6,200 pounds of towing capacity. The 5.7-liter V8 hemi engine comes as an option for the Limited, Overland and Summit four-wheel drive models. This powertrain produces 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet, while towing a strenuous 7,200 pounds. A 6.4-liter V8 engine is an option for the SRT, taking these expectations to an entirely new place as well.
